Creating an Opera News Scraping Task

Submit a task to scrape the Opera News feed for a given country and language, optionally narrowed to a single category.

Requires the opera-news scope on your API key.

Endpoint

POST /api/parsing/v1/opera-news

Request Body

Name	Type	Required	Description
country	string	yes	Country of the Opera News feed (e.g. `us`)
language	string	yes	Feed language as a two-letter code (e.g. `en`, `de`, `fr`)
limit	number	no	Number of feed items to return, from `1` to `100`
category	string	no	Feed category (e.g. `sports`). Omit for the main feed
callbackUrl	string	no	Webhook URL to POST result when done

Field	Type	Description
id	string	Task ID used to poll for the result
status	string	Current task status (`parsing`, `done`, `error`)
scope	string	Task type — always `opera-news` for this endpoint
costCredits	number	Credits charged for the task
createdAt	string	ISO 8601 timestamp of when the task was created

The task is processed asynchronously. Use the id to poll for the result or set callbackUrl to receive a webhook when parsing completes.
